Mumford And Sons Wow Crammed NME/Radio 1 Stage at Leeds Festival 2010

Folk rock band put on fantastic show on Sunday 29^th August

The London based quartet entertained thousands of ecstatic fans as hundreds had to catch a glimpse of their performance on outside screens. After much anticipation, the enthusiastic lads put on a show to remember.

Hitting it off with the epic    ‘Sigh No More’, the rising musicians went on to play an energetic set focused undoubtedly on their debut album (Sigh No More) but treated the crowd with new songs telling them – “This may be more of a rehearsal than a gig!”

As the talented group emerged on stage they were evidently overcome by the colossal crowds that had turned out to see their first performance at Leeds and Reading Festival. The band interacted with the crowd and were beaming with smiles throughout.

Marcus Mumford and the troop soon moved onto a spectacular ‘Little Lion Man’ as the whole tent chanted along word by word. To top it off an atmospheric ‘The Cave’ sent the crowd through the roof and proved to be the perfect finale to a mind-blowing set.
